Our Mission:
To build long term relationships through quality I.T. consultation and support.
Our Goal:
To increase productivity by improving I.T. systems performance and reliability while reducing support requirements and cost. See a Case Study which documents how we did this for one company. (Support requirements dropped 60%!)
Our Business Model:
We do not "sell" software, hardware or packaged 3rd party services at a profit. We help our clients determine the best solution for their needs, desire and budget. We then assist them in procuring that solution at the best price. Our revenue comes through providing the service and support our clients need, with our mission and goal always guiding us.
We have patrons. We treat them as clients, not as customers. This is a subtle but important difference. We represent their interest instead of our own. That is why we do not treat hardware, software and 3rd party services to be as a profit center. We ask, “How can someone, who stands to profit from the sale of software, hardware or 3rd party packaged services, be representing only the interest of the patron?” The answer, “They cannot!” If your I.T. service provider profits from selling you hardware, software or 3rd party contracts, perhaps you should give us a call for an objective 2nd opinion.
A Client is the party for which professional services are rendered, as by an attorney, accountant, physician or I.T. Consultant. Granted, there are those without ethics in every endeavor but the business model fits.

Our Client's Comments:
Dear Mike and Travis,
January 29, 2008
I am so grateful you were able to fix my Dell Laptop, and in such a timely fashion. While at Austin Computer Shop, I felt so comfortable and your friendly service put me at ease, including the warmth of your Family Atmosphere. I must tell you that, getting ones’ Computer serviced can be as stressful as fixing your Vehicle. What I mean is, that it is important to trust your mechanic, and know they have integrity. Your Austin Computer Shop by far has proven this to me and I will be sending you everyone I know and even perfect strangers, because that is how highly I think of your business and the services you provide. I will always be a customer of yours, and get used to hearing my name, because I will be telling everyone to let you know that I sent Them. You two are angels in every sense of the word.
